Lindsey M. Guinand graduated from Florida State University in 2009 with honors, earning a double major. That same year, she began her legal studies at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she received numerous awards for her professionalism and trial advocacy. After earning her Juris Doctor in 2012, Lindsey began her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General in Tampa.
Following five years in that role, she joined The Florida Bar as Senior Bar Counsel in the Tampa Office of the Lawyer Regulation Department. In that capacity, Lindsey prosecuted attorney misconduct and argued cases before the Florida Supreme Court. In 2022, she was promoted to Chief Discipline Counsel for the Tampa Office, where she managed other Senior Bar Counsel for The Florida Bar.
Throughout her career, Lindsey has written articles and lectured extensively on ethics and professionalism. She is an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and has served as Co-Chair of the HCBA’s Professionalism and Ethics Committee since 2023.
Lindsey became an associate with Smith, Tozian, Daniel & Davis, P.A. in February 2025.
